What is QMail:
QMail is a mail transfer agent (MTA or SMTP) that is written in C-language that runs on Unix. It was written by Daniel J. Bernstein, considered as a secure replacement for the popular Sendmail. Some other popular SMTP service providers are Microsoft Exchange Server, Postfix, Sendmail and Exim.

What is GMail:
GMail, officially Google Mail in Germany and in UK, is a free Web-based email (webmail), POP3 and IMAP e-mail service provided by Google. On April 1 2004 the product began as an invitation-only beta release. On February 7 2007 the beta version was opened to the general public. GMail uses AJAX programming technique.gmail runs on google's webserver which runs on linux.
