Detect and repair disk errors

Some bad sectors of hard disk can reduce the hard disk performance and makes data writing more difficult. Error Checking utility can be used to rectify it.

steps to use Error Checking utility

First Close all open files.

Start > My Computer

right-click the hard disk you want to search for bad sectors

Properties > Tools > Check Now

Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors

Start.

If  bad sectors are found,select to fix them
